Little Man

Wesley Peter was born Sept 8, 6lb,12oz at St Joseph Hospital in Ann Arbor. (That's the hospital where I work L&D, my second home, and so he came into this world surrounded by so much love.)

He is very long and scrawny...the first thing Jon said when he came out was "He has Lord Voldermort hands!" He is a lover, smiling at 5 weeks, rolling at 5 1/2, rocking some alarming Male Pattern Baldness, and proving the stereotype of Mama's boy. We've definitely had lots of ups and downs: feeding issues like his sister, a stay inpatient for jaundice, being beaten up by his adoring big sis, and always sleep issues, always.

But now this little man is 6 weeks old and I can't imagine our family without him.  I know everyone says that, it's a chiche because it's true.

And now it's time for me to get back to the blog-o-sphere. I have missed this space.

  1. What a sweet family! I can't imagine you without Wesley either! He's a real cutie, but I'll be glad when the male pattern baldness turns into hair!

    1. Thanks Elise! Luckily we know that Soph was even mangier and she turned out ok, but really when people tell me he's just *so* precious I want to say "gee that's nice of you but we both know he's kind of a peanut right now..."

  2. Oh my!! Such cuteness!! Wes looking at Jon...and the one of him in the pink bib...! As Hillary on 5-West used to say, I think I just dropped an egg! (But not really, this shop is closed.) And Soph is seriously gorgeous!

I am just so so SO happy for you! We need a phone date soon when you feel not-tired (ha! yeah right!) and can have a legit adult conversation. :)

    1. Haha, "not tired." Cute. We had kind of convinced ourselves we were "due" a good sleeper so this wouldn't be "all that bad." Oh so funny.

I miss you friend! Loving your blog and your own gorgeous littles!
